What should I do for softball tryouts?
I'm a freshman, and I try to go out for my high school softball team. I'm sure this is a fastpitch team, but it is not specified. Until the age of 9 years I played in my League of Cities, and I try to be a sport, it's a spring that I have some experience when I played, I was always touring field between the spots. I do not know what I need for tryouts, because we all lent our league, but our gloves. Do I need my own and a helmet? If yes, what type of bat and the size is right? And would a baseball glove 12 inch is enough for tryouts if I did not to invest in a new glove incase I cut? Other than those essential things, what else do I need, ie, cleats, protection of the knees (I remember girls in the old league of the habit of wearing knee thigh), or anything I'm forgetting. And if you advice to give me the practice ground ball, throwing, and batting (I go to a batting cage this weekend), everything is appreciated!
That's all you need is a glove, cleats, batting gloves and some if you use them. The school will provide bats and helmets.
