Can civilians (non professional sportsmen) ride for tour de France as individual or probably team of two.?
I am a doctor from india and wish to ride in tour de france some day probably after few years if possible.
The Tour it self is an invitation only event to the top bike teams, recently the tour officials also consider the top UCI point teams for automatic entry. The Tour is not open to individuals. You do have an option there are several Companies offering rides similar to the event on the same routes.
