How are some of the wrestlers' finishing moves effective?
Moves like the RKO (neckbreaker or cutter), Attitude Adjustment (firemans carry slam), Starship Pain (split-legged, corkscrew moonsault) and The Reality Check (running knee strike + neckbreaker combo) looks very ineffective to me. How do some of the wrestlers consider those finishers as effective compared to some of the best finishing moves that I've seen such as The Last Ride, Batista Bomb, Crippler Crossface, Sharpshooter and The Big Show's Chokeslam?
It all depends on how you sell it. Look at the clothesline. It's a normal move for most people. However, some people use it as a finishing move.
