What are some reasons a guy would wear a lace up ankle brace all the time?
There is a guy who lives on my floor who wears one of those sports ankle braces taht laces up and has the straps on it 24/7 since school has started. He doesn't play sports and hasn't said anything about injurying it. Are there some medical reasons he'd have to wear it or is it just for attention?
He may be trying to get attention, but most likely not. Some people need ankle support due to weak ankles either from past injury (ie. mulitple sprains or fractures) or from a skeletal/muscular deformity or something. just because he doesn't play sports doesn't mean anything. My guess is past injury, such as ankle fracture. (i broke my wrist and I have to wear this brace for 4-6 weeks post cast.
